What you will do.
1. Technical Leadership:
a. Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
b. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI and ML.
2. Team Management:
a. Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other technical
staff.
b. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and skill
development.
3. Solution Development:
a. Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms for various
applications.
b. Work closely with software engineers to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems.
4. Data Management:
a. Oversee the acquisition, cleaning, and preparation of data for machine learning projects.
b. Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Performance Evaluation:a. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of
AI/ML solutions.
b. Iteratively improve models based on feedback and changing business needs.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
a. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into
actionable AI/ML solutions.
b. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
7. Continuous Improvement:
a. Continuously evaluate and enhance the organisation's AI/ML capabilities.
b. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
What we are looking for.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
5-7 years of professional experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
Knowledge of open source LLM's and vector databases is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing AI/ML projects and teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
